With more than 70,000 acres of protected seashore out the front door, there is no shortage of exploring to do. Point Reyes visitors centers are convenient, as is the lovely Limantour Beach. Sea kayaking and horseback riding are just a short drive away, as is the town of Point Reyes Station, with excellent restaurants, organic groceries and eclectic souvenir shopping.
